"Indiscreet Charm of the Burlesque Part 2" is the result of Manuel Ocampo's interaction
with fellow artists Ronald Achacoso, Poklong Anading, Argie Bandoy, Poi Beltran,
Lena Cobangbang, David Griggs, Robert Langenegger, Romeo Lee, Jet Melencio,
Jayson Oliveria, Gerry Tan and MM Yu, on view at the Finale Art Gallery, SM Mega A.
Just like his works, the collaborative exhibits show the meeting, and sometimes the collision,
of minds that have their respective horizons of symbols--personal or otherwise.
In true postmodernist streak, the exhibits argue the tyranny of authorship and widen the space
for expressions, allowing disparate forms and images to construct their own palpitating worlds.
